A technician arriving for a home service visit

Booking and repairs

Clear answers before you decide.

Tell us what has gone wrong. We will discuss the visit, check the appliance and explain the repair before you agree to the work.

What to expect

1

Tell us what stopped working

Call with your appliance, brand and full address. Describe what happens when you use it, including any error message, leak or unusual noise. Have the model number handy if you can find it safely.

2

Discuss the appointment and fees

ABC will check service availability for your address and appliance. Ask about diagnostic and service fees. Mention warranty information, entry instructions and any built-in or stacked installation.

3

Have the appliance checked

The technician examines the appliance to find the fault. Similar symptoms can come from different causes, so the required repair is not always clear from a phone description.

4

Decide on the repair

Discuss the findings, price, parts availability and any applicable warranty before agreeing to work. ABC stocks parts, but the part for your model may need to be ordered.

Repair or replace?

Compare a diagnosed repair price with the complete cost of replacement, not just the price on a new appliance. Delivery, removal, cabinet fit and connection changes can affect the total.

Consider the appliance's overall condition, previous repairs and whether it still suits your household. There is no single age or percentage rule that settles every case.

Before the technician arrives

Clear small items from around the appliance and arrange access to the property. Leave heavy, built-in, gas and hardwired appliances in place. Keep any photos of error codes and your warranty documents available.

If someone else will be home, tell ABC who can provide entry and approve work. Call to discuss timing; an appointment is only arranged once confirmed.

Arrange your repair

Ready to arrange a repair?

Call ABC with your appliance, the problem and your community. Ask about appointment availability and any fees before booking.

Common questions

A few things to know.

Is requesting service the same as confirming an appointment?

No. ABC confirms the service address, appliance eligibility, access and scheduling before a visit is arranged. The contact form sends a request for review; submission does not confirm an appointment.

Will a symptom description identify the failed part before the visit?

Not reliably. A symptom helps prepare for the visit, but the technician must check the appliance before a failed part or repair outcome is promised.
