Check the exact model before drawing that conclusion about another Moffat freezer. Follow its manual for routine defrost care and keep food in reliable cold storage during any interruption. Do not chip ice with a sharp tool or open the cabinet. Frost that prevents the door sealing, persistent warmth or rapidly returning heavy buildup deserves assessment.
