Tell ABC whether clothes feel briefly humid when removed or remain wet after removal, and keep any filter notification from the display or SmartHQ app. ## Are GE Profile UltraFast Combo clothes damp or still wet? GE explains that an UltraFast Combo's sealed, lower-temperature drying process can leave items feeling slightly humid inside the drum. Removing and shaking an item can distinguish that sensation from laundry that remains wet. If clothes are still wet after removal, note whether the wash achieved a normal spin and whether the load mixed heavy and light fabrics. GE identifies poor drainage and an unbalanced load as possible contributors to drying trouble. Do not assume that every long cycle means a failed heat pump. Tell ABC which part of the combined wash-and-dry process changed. ## What should you do with GE Profile F353? For the UltraFast Combo, GE associates F353 or a SmartHQ 'Lint Filter Clogged' notification with low airflow. Its filter guidance distinguishes the lint-filter assembly from the drain-pump filter; cleaning one does not mean the other has been checked. Use the cleaning instructions for the filter fitted to your Combo. GE documents both mesh-and-foam and two-mesh arrangements. Do not run the appliance with filters missing, or replace an undamaged washable filter simply because it is dirty. If the warning returns after the specified care, retain the message and request service. Avoid improvised filter modifications or reaching into internal drying components. ## Does a GE Profile freezer display show the temperature of the food? Not necessarily. Certain GE Profile side-by-side refrigerators display the selected freezer temperature rather than a live measurement. GE also documents older designs that show actual and set temperatures at different points. Check the model's instructions before treating a reassuring number on the panel as proof that the freezer is cold enough. If food appears to be softening, record an independent freezer-temperature reading if you can and keep food in reliable cold storage when needed. Photograph the display and complete model label, and say whether the refrigerator compartment is also warming. Do not repeatedly lower the set point to compensate for continued poor cooling. A temperature that stays abnormal needs assessment. A sensing cycle and a timed cycle do not use the same stopping decision. GE documents moisture- and temperature-based drying systems across different models; its Profile PTD70EBSTWS is one Sensor Dry example. Identifying the selected cycle helps separate a normal cycle ending from an interruption or an error. The Profile name alone does not establish which system your dryer uses. Note whether the load was evenly damp or contained a few wetter heavy items, and whether the display showed a normal completion message. Compare the result with previous similar loads on the same setting. Clean the lint screen as directed before the next ordinary use, but do not open the dryer to inspect its sensors.
